A fourteen level building on the corner of St Kilda Road and Toorak Road West, holding just 40 residences, the uppermost of them a double storey penthouse. Its facade is both the defining challenge and the signature of the job: curved glass corners set against facetted planes, pleated to fold the light like fabric, with a geometry that shifts floor by floor and left no room for approximation. Behind it sits a double height lobby in feature marble, a full floor given over to residents with pool, spa, gym, sauna, steam room, club lounge and private meeting rooms, and four levels of basement parking with a private garage to each residence, some served by a private lift running direct to the residence above. Local and international stone, natural timber, metal, leather and fabric were selected for their own character and detailed to keep it.
